Is prayer valid in a bedroom if its floor is connected to the bathroom floor, and the worshiper believes that the part near the bathroom is impure, even though he prays on his own prayer rug?

For the prayer to be valid, the garment, body, and place must be pure, as Allah Almighty says: (And purify your garments). So, whoever prays while knowing about an impurity, his prayer is invalid. The majority of scholars hold that removing impurity is a condition for the prayer's validity. However, if a person prays on a carpet whose edge is impure, or which is connected to an impurity, or which is laid over an impurity, his prayer is valid, because he is not directly touching the impurity. The place of prayer is not judged as impure unless it is known with certainty that impurity has afflicted it.
