How is the prayer performed for a Muslim buried in Christian cemeteries? Is it by standing at his grave and praying for him, or by praying for him the Absentee Funeral Prayer (Salat al-Gha'ib)?

If a Muslim is buried without a funeral prayer, then the absentee prayer (Salat al-Gha'ib) should be performed for him if he was buried in another country. If he was buried in the same country, the prayer should be performed at his grave. Accordingly, if the brother was buried in a Christian cemetery that contains crosses and images, the prayer should be performed at his grave, and the presence of crosses and images does not cause any harm.
