Is the repeated feeling of admiration towards young men, while being certain of its prohibition, considered an illness or a wrath from God, and will God forgive it?

The natural inclination of a woman towards a man, as long as it is not caused by a forbidden act, is not blameworthy and is not considered an illness or a sign of Allah's displeasure. Rather, it is part of human nature (fitra), and she should strive against its thoughts. However, if this inclination is acquired through her own actions or leads to forbidden physical acts, then this is unlawful and is considered the sickness of passionate love ('ishq). Falling into sins may be due to previous transgressions that led to the servant's degradation and the devil's dominance over them. Furthermore, abandoning obligatory duties is a cause for committing forbidden acts, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And whoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Merciful - We will appoint for him a devil, so he will be to him a companion" and His saying: "So they forgot a portion of what they were reminded of. So We stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection." If what is in your heart is forbidden, then repent to Allah, and He will forgive you.
