To what extent is the narration attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) authentic: "If a woman's eye sheds tears due to injustice caused by a man, the angels curse him with every step he takes"? And are there any Quranic texts or Sunnah texts that support a curse afflicting a man who causes a woman to cry?

There is no basis for the saying: "If a woman cries out of injustice, the Throne of the Most Merciful shakes for it, and everyone in the heavens and the earth curses her." It is not attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib or any other Companion. Many lies have been fabricated against Ali, may Allah be pleased with him. There is nothing in Islamic law to indicate that a curse befalls one who makes a woman cry unjustly. Rather, the texts of Islamic law instruct kindness towards women and good companionship, and warn against injustice in general. The mere crying of a woman is not proof of injustice, as her crying may be justified.
