What is the Islamic ruling on treating with the Quran while the healer speaks to the jinn and asks for its name?

Treatment with the Qur'an and prophetic supplications is permissible, and there is no harm if the reciter addresses the jinn and asks it about its name or anything else. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did this with the devil who bothered Uthman ibn Abi al-As during his prayer.
