What are the consequences for one who does not turn off music when hearing the adhan, despite knowing of its prohibition?

The obligation is to abandon listening to unlawful songs at all times and under all circumstances. Listening to them during the Adhan (call to prayer) and Iqamah (second call to prayer) is even more reprehensible, due to the disregard for prayer, lack of respect for religious rituals, and missing the virtue of following the Muezzin and repeating after him. Although there is no specific warning against listening to them during the Adhan or Iqamah, deliberately doing so is considered an additional reprehensible act.
