Must one make up prayers performed with incorrect ablution or insufficient tranquility, or not?

Wiping the ears and interweaving the fingers during ablution (wudu') are Sunnah (prophetic tradition), and omitting them does not invalidate the ablution. Doubting the validity of an act of worship after completing it does not have an effect, and the default assumption is that the prayer is valid. Prayers in which there was an unintentional addition of a sitting or prostration are valid and do not need to be repeated. Nothing from the prayers needs to be repeated except what you are certain involved a deficiency in a pillar (rukn) or a condition (shart), such as omitting an obligatory washing in ablution or omitting the obligatory tranquility (طمأنينة) in prayer. Most of the prayers that one might think need to be redone do not, in fact, need to be redone. If you are certain that some prayers must be made up, then making up missed prayers (qada' al-fawa'it) takes precedence over voluntary prayers (nawafil). However, if you follow someone who believes that making them up is not obligatory, there is no harm in that.
