ما هو حكم طباعة الصور الكرتونية، وليس رسمها؟

Cartoon images are divided into two types: The first type consists of images that depict living beings. It is not permissible to draw or print these, based on the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded her to remove a curtain with winged horses on it. An exception is made for images that serve an overriding interest, or are debased, or have a part removed without which life cannot persist. The second type consists of images that do not depict living beings, such as drawings of inanimate objects. There is no harm in drawing or printing these, as they do not involve imitation.
