Which is better: Supplicating after the Adhan until the Iqamah or going directly to prayer?

Going to the mosque is better than other options, due to the desirability of arriving early, and attaining the virtue of awaiting the prayer, a place in the first row. Supplication does not conflict with going to the mosque, but if the supplication will cause one to miss the congregational prayer, then the congregation is more befitting, because it is obligatory, unlike supplication. As for a woman, it is better for her to pray in her home.
