Which is more preferable: repeating the Adhan or reciting the supplication for walking to the mosque when the Adhan is called while you are on your way to the mosque?

It is presumed that combining the remembrance of going out to the mosque and repeating the Adhan is not difficult, as neither takes a long time, especially since some scholars have permitted repeating it before the muezzin. If combining them is difficult, then repeating the Adhan is more appropriate, because some scholars, such as the Hanafis, held it to be obligatory, citing the hadith: "So say as he says," and other hadiths that condemn those who hear the Adhan and do not respond. As for the remembrance of going out to the mosque, no scholar has been reported to say that it is obligatory.
