Is a 33-year-old woman whose parents have passed away and who has not married considered one of the orphaned women?

An orphan is one whose father died while he was young and had not yet reached puberty. The description of orphanhood remains until he reaches puberty. One who has lost both parents is called "lateem" (bereft of both parents). A woman who has reached 33 years of age is not called an orphan nor a "lateem," because the ruling of orphanhood ends with puberty for both male and female.
