Why was the description of Al-Aqsa Mosque initially confusing to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

When Quraysh disbelieved the Prophet, peace be upon him, regarding the Isra’ (Night Journey), and asked him about the descriptions of Jerusalem, Allah revealed Jerusalem to him so he could describe it to them accurately. This is mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim. The Prophet, peace be upon him, clarified that he did not confirm some descriptions due to his preoccupation with more important matters, or because the Isra’ occurred at night and darkness obscured clear vision, as mentioned by Mulla Ali al-Qari.
