The answer

You must endure the harm caused by your mother and your wife, be patient with them, and advise them gently and kindly. It is forbidden for you to harm them, even by saying "uff" (a word of displeasure), because Allah the Almighty says: "And your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [even] 'uff,' and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, 'My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.'" [Al-Isra: 23-24]. Beware of being undutiful to your mother and do not wrong your wife. We advise the wife to be kind to her husband's mother, and if it is easy for you to live separately to avoid problems, there is no harm in that, provided that the rights of the mother are not violated. We advise the mother to fear Allah and to avoid injustice.
