What is the ruling regarding the situation of a wife who suffers from her mother-in-law's continuous abuse, which negatively affects her psyche and self-confidence, especially with her attempts to build herself and focus on Quranic sciences, given that her mother-in-law is her neighbor and their relationship is limited to providing simple assistance?

To deal with the problem between you and your mother-in-law, you must supplicate to Allah, engage in much remembrance (), and be patient. You bear no sin for disliking her due to her actions, as long as this does not lead you to wrong her. Be good to her and help her, for through this, Allah may mend what is between you two. Your husband must treat you kindly and fulfill your rights, and he is not obligated to obey his mother in mistreating you. You have the right to avoid your mother-in-law and refrain from speaking to her to guard against her harm, and your husband must be wise in resolving the problem.
