How can a student of knowledge organize his time by setting a schedule?

The virtue of seeking religious knowledge is immense; it is a path to Paradise and a legacy of the Prophets. One should begin by memorizing the Holy Quran. A طالب العلم (seeker of knowledge) must frequently sit with scholars. To manage time, fixed appointments should be set, and time-wasters like procrastination, excessive sleep and eating, and idle amusement should be avoided. The best times for memorization are after Fajr and during the pre-dawn hours. The day can be divided between memorization, revision, reading, and attending lessons. A seeker of knowledge must adhere to their program and strive against their self for diligence and activity.
