Is drawing forbidden, especially drawing animate beings, and what should I do with the drawings I have if it is forbidden?

Creating animate beings by hand is forbidden. Whoever does so must efface or obliterate them. One can use the talent of drawing for non-animate subjects, or restrict oneself to drawing purposeful cartoon characters for children.
