Is it permissible to repeat the remembrance, "Subhan Allah wa bihamdih, adada khalqih, wa zinata arshih, wa midada kalimatih, wa rida nafsih" (Glorified is Allah and praised is He, to the number of His creation, and by the weight of His Throne, and by the extent of His words, and by the pleasure of His Self), or must one be limited to three times as mentioned in the hadith? And is it better to repeat this remembrance or to repeat the four phrases that Allah loves, and the word of Tawhid (Oneness of God)?

There is no harm in repeating the glorification (tasbih) and the four phrases (SubhanAllah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar). In fact, there is an encouragement to repeat them one hundred times. They have great virtues, among which are: they are the most beloved words to Allah; one hundred glorifications are equivalent to freeing one hundred slaves from the descendants of Isma'il; one hundred praises (tahmidah) are equivalent to one hundred horses used in the cause of Allah; one hundred exclamations of Allahu Akbar (takbirah) are equivalent to one hundred adorned and accepted camels offered as sacrifice; one hundred declarations of "La ilaha illallah" (tahlilah) fill what is between the heavens and the earth, and no one's deeds will be raised on that day except if they bring forth something similar to what you have brought forth; and they are the plants of Paradise.
