Is it permissible for a wife to disclose her husband's sexual dysfunction to her family and friends, and what should the husband do about it?

The default is the impermissibility of disclosing marital secrets, as Allah Almighty has prohibited it in His saying: "So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard."

However, it is permissible to disclose marital secrets out of necessity, such as when the wife claims her husband is unable to have intercourse, but this permission should not be expanded upon.

The husband must treat his wife with kindness, and this includes intercourse. If he is unable to do so, the wife has the right to seek annulment.

The cause of inability to have intercourse may be magic (al-rabṭ), which is mentioned in His saying, the Almighty: "And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife."

It is recommended to turn to Allah with supplication and seek help through ruqyah shar'iyyah (Islamic incantation) to treat such cases. This involves reciting Ayatul Kursi, the "Qawāqil" (Surahs Al-Ikhlas, Al-Kafirun, and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn), and the verses of magic from Surahs Al-A'raf, Yunus, and Taha, along with drinking water over which these verses have been recited and bathing with it, or using seven crushed green sidr leaves mixed with water over which these verses have been recited.
