What is the ruling on a wife revealing the secrets of marital intimacy to her father, and is it permissible for the father to intervene in such matters?

The intimate matters between spouses are a trust that must be preserved, and it is forbidden to disclose them, as the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, among the greatest trusts with Allah on the Day of Resurrection is the man who goes to his wife and she goes to him, then he discloses her secret," and "Indeed, among the worst people in rank with Allah on the Day of Resurrection is the man who goes to his wife and she goes to him, then he discloses her secret."

The wife disclosing secrets of the bed is a grave mistake and a betrayal of trust. Her father should have admonished her and not interfered in matters of marital intimacy.

The husband abandoning his home for this duration is a mistake. The prescribed course of action in case of conflict is to attempt reconciliation, as Allah the Almighty said: "As for those [wives] from whom you fear defiance, admonish them, and abandon them in bed, and strike them. But if they obey you, then seek no way against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand. And if you fear a breach between them, then appoint an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause agreement between them. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Acquainted [with all things]."

One must return home and act with wisdom and gentleness, and teach the wife the sanctity of not disclosing secrets of intercourse and the home, and that complaints related to intercourse should only be between the spouses.

It is permissible for a man to enjoy his menstruating wife in matters other than the vagina, while being cautious not to commit what is forbidden. It is advised to cooperate in obedience to Allah and to learn matters of religion.
