Are there any Quranic surahs that help someone looking for a job to find one?
Islamic Sharia is a law of means, therefore, one must employ both material and spiritual means. Sustenance has its material means, such as effort and work, and its lawful means, such as fearing Allah Almighty, seeking forgiveness, and supplicating. Allah Almighty has mentioned in His Book that His piety brings sustenance from where one does not expect, and that seeking forgiveness increases wealth and offspring. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to supplicate for good sustenance after Fajr prayer. There are no specific surahs in the Quran proven to have a special effect in bringing sustenance. However, fearing Allah in general, which includes reading and pondering the Quran, is a lawful means of bringing sustenance, along with the importance of employing material means and relying on Allah.
