What is the ruling on migrating to Europe? And what are the advantages of migration?

The preponderant view is that it is permissible to reside in lands of disbelief for one who is safe from temptation and able to openly practice the rituals of his religion. However, it is preferable to reside among Muslims. It is disliked to travel to lands of disbelief generally. And if one is unable to openly practice his religion, his travel there is forbidden. Residence may become recommended for some people if the benefit is greater, such as calling to Allah or teaching Muslims, and this would be an exception to the general prohibition.
