Is it permissible to play the sounds of rain and wind loudly through speakers while reciting the Qur'an in order to attain khushu' (devotional humility) and avoid hearing family conversations?

It is not permissible to raise one's voice with the Quran in rooms if it will harm those around you, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm," and due to the rule: "Harm is not removed by harm." Moreover, it compromises the perfect respect for the Quran. The solution is to seek times of quiet, or to focus on reading with contemplation of the meanings.
