Is thinking about a girl, recalling her image and pure, chaste love, without sexual fantasies, considered forbidden or permissible, especially given the inability to marry at the present time?

It is forbidden to contemplate the appealing qualities of foreign women, and this prohibition is further emphasized if their images are present, due to the fear of temptation. It is obligatory for those who are able to strive for marriage to preserve their chastity. As for those who are unable, they must seek chastity through fasting, frequent supplication, and occupying their time with beneficial activities. Allah Almighty says: "But let those who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty" (Surat An-Nur, 24:33). And He says: "And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves" (Surat An-Nur, 24:32). In the Hadith: "Three are entitled to Allah's help: ... and the one who marries, seeking chastity."
