Is it permissible to buy a house with a loan?

Purchasing a house with a loan, if the loan is usurious—whether from a bank or an individual—and requires repayment of more than what was taken, then it is (forbidden) by the agreement of Islamic scholars. However, if the loan is permissible with no usurious interest, then it is (permissible) by the agreement of the Imams.
