Is it permissible to play an electronic prank that involves deceiving others by asking for specific names and then informing them that they have been tricked and that their names have been sent to the sender, knowing that the sender justifies this by claiming not to have forced the participant and cites the verse: "And I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me but blame yourselves"?

The mentioned prank includes several impermissible religious aspects: First: Claiming knowledge of the unseen, which is a great sin that can reach the level of disbelief, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever goes to a diviner and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights," and "Whoever goes to a diviner or a soothsayer and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." Second: Lying, which is forbidden in jest and otherwise, for jest should only be truthful. Third: Frightening a Muslim. It is obligatory for anyone who commits these acts to offer sincere repentance.
