Is it obligatory for someone who made a mistake in Surat Al-Fatiha, or the Tashahhud, or the Salawat Al-Ibrahimiyya ( भेजने के लिए, भेजने के लिए, भेजने के लिए), or the surah after Al-Fatiha, to repeat the prayer and perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) before the taslim (salutation), or is nothing required of him?

Whoever errs in recitation of Al-Fatiha with an error that does not change the meaning, their prayer is valid. However, if the error changes the meaning, they must repeat the part in which they erred. If they do not do so, their prayer becomes void. As for errors in the surah recited after Al-Fatiha, there are no consequences. An error in the final tashahhud necessitates repeating the part of it in which the error occurred, because it is a pillar, and the obligatory part of the final tashahhud consists of five words. As for an error in the first tashahhud, the prayer is not invalidated by it because it is a sunnah (recommended act). An error in the wording of the salutation upon the Prophet has no consequence, and it suffices to say: "Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad (O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad)." Prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) is not required in any of these cases for repeating and correcting the error.
