Is it permissible to wear an Ihram (lower garment) that has a pocket and an inner belt?

It is permissible for a person in a state of ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah to wear an izar (lower garment) that has a pocket or an internal belt. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) clarified that the izar is permissible whether it is tied with a cord, sewn, or has pockets. He explained that the misconception among some common folk that anything sewn is forbidden is an error, for the consideration is not whether it is sewn, but rather the type of garment that is forbidden.
