What is the ruling on naming a group on Facebook: "I was created to love You"?
We have been commanded to be truthful and forbidden from lying, as stated in the : "Adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise... And beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Hellfire."
The purpose of our creation is to worship Allah alone, as stated by Him, the Almighty: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me," and His saying: "He who created death and life to test you, which of you is best in action." This purpose contradicts the aforementioned designation.
Furthermore, this phrase may be used between a Muslim and a non-Muslim, or between boys and girls, which is not permissible in Islamic law.
