The answer

If the deceased has no heirs other than the wife and children, the inheritance is divided as follows:

1. For the wife: One-eighth (1/8) as a prescribed share due to the existence of a lineal descendant, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if you have a child, then for them [the wives] is one-eighth of what you leave." 2. For the children: What remains after the wife's prescribed share is divided among them by residuary right (ta'sib), with the male receiving the share of two females, based on the Almighty's saying: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females."

It must be noted that the matter of inheritances is serious and complex, and a mere fatwa is not sufficient; rather, it must be referred to the Sharia courts for review and investigation, as there may be wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
