What is the ruling on one who prays two rak'ahs with the same verse?

There is no harm in repeating a verse or a surah in the two rak'ahs or multiple rak'ahs, based on the words of Allah Almighty: "So recite what is easy [for you] of the Qur'an." However, it is preferable to recite one surah in the first rak'ah and another surah in the second.
