What is the religious ruling on reclaiming the price of medicine that was bought for an unemployed friend?

If a person is responsible for distributing medicine for money as an employee, then returning the price of the medicine to his friend is considered treachery and a forbidden act if he is not authorized to do so by the owner of the medicine, based on the words of Allah Almighty: "O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]." (Al-Anfal:27).
