Is a person sinful for abandoning the offering of advice and guidance to others in matters of their religion and their worldly life, and how can this be facilitated and made beloved?

The default is that the obligation to condemn evil does not cease except due to a real harm to the one enjoining good, or a certainty that the one being condemned will not benefit, or the fear of a greater evil occurring. The one enjoining good should not claim that people do not respond due to the prevalence of evils; rather, it is often the case that many do respond, especially those who are ignorant of the ruling. The one enjoining good should be keen on saving people from what they have fallen into, and should know that enjoining good and forbidding evil is motivated by the hope for reward, the fear of punishment, anger for the sake of Allah, sincere advice to the believers, and reverence and love for Allah. Whoever considers these points will find every harm in the path of Allah easy to bear.
