Is one recorded as a liar with God if one lies and then changes the lie and tells the truth on the same day or another day?

There is no doubt about the prohibition of lying. A person continues to lie until he is recorded as a liar with Allah. However, if someone lies and then repents, his repentance erases the effect of his sin, for "the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin."
