Is watching a veiled dancer dance the same as watching a pornographic film, and which one is a greater sin?

Watching pornographic movies is forbidden and evil, and leads to committing zina (fornication/adultery), though its sinfulness does not reach the level of zina. Watching dancers is also forbidden, and watching pornographic movies is uglier and a greater sin. One must be wary of falling into sin with the excuse of repentance, as that is one of Satan's tricks. Ibn Kathir said in his exegesis of Surah Al-Hadid (57:14-15) that the soul is tempted by pleasures and sins, delays repentance, and is deceived by hopes and Satan until death comes.
