Will I be rewarded with the merit of an Umrah if I perform ablution at my workplace and pray in Quba Mosque?

Whoever prays in Quba Mosque will have the reward of an 'Umrah, according to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever goes forth until he comes to this mosque - Quba Mosque - and prays therein, will have the reward equal to an 'Umrah." This reward was also qualified by performing ablution at home first, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Quba Mosque and prays therein, he will have a reward like that of an 'Umrah." Some scholars believe that this qualification is to emphasize that journeys should not be undertaken specifically to this mosque, unlike the three mosques (al-Masjid al-Haram, al-Masjid an-Nabawi, and al-Masjid al-Aqsa). However, it is safer to perform ablution at home before going there.
