A man teaching adult girls who are not adhering to the controls, such as and lowering the gaze, is forbidden and an evil. His speaking to them on the phone without a valid need increases temptation and is a pretext for corruption. His claim that he is not affected by mixing with them contradicts both the Sharia and reality. He must fear Allah and not enter into doors of temptation; Allah has provided him with lawful means of earning. The wife should advise him gently and wisely, inform him of the words of the scholars, and her motive for denouncing this evil should be its contravention of the Sharia, not mere blameworthy jealousy if it exceeds moderation. As for the husband's delay in returning home and leaving his wife alone without an excuse, it contradicts good companionship.
