Does invoking a curse upon someone and then seeking forgiveness and pardoning them nullify the curse or cause it to afflict them?

The matter of a prayer's acceptance regarding the realization of what is invoked rests solely with Allah, and no one can definitively assert whether what is sought will be achieved or not. We advise refraining from supplicating against Muslims, even if one of them appears to commit injustice or transgression. Instead, one should entrust the matter to Allah, forgive, and pardon. If a person supplicates evil against a Muslim, there is no harm in following it with a prayer for them and seeking forgiveness, asking Allah not to answer their prayer against them, emulating the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "O Allah, I am but a human being, so any Muslim whom I have cursed or insulted, make that a purification and a reward for him."
