If your fiancée is religious and of good character, try to convince your father to accept her and intercede with someone he respects. If he agrees, then that is good. Otherwise, leave her out of obedience to him. Perhaps Allah will grant you someone better than her because of your dutifulness to him. However, if he orders you to marry a woman you do not desire, you are not obligated to obey him. We advise you to search for a religious woman of good character in the place your father desires, or any place he approves for you.
