What is the ruling on using a program whose producing company is Israeli or whose programmer is Israeli?

If the program is free from Shar’i violations, there is no impediment to using it, even if its designer is a disbeliever or a belligerent, and even if the belligerent benefits from its price. Trade with disbelievers is permissible as long as it does not strengthen them against fighting Muslims, unless Muslims see a Shar’i benefit in an economic boycott that weakens theavers. The assessment of this matter rests with the people of knowledge and specialization.
