Is it a prerequisite for sound contemplation (tadabbur) to read an accurate tafsir (exegesis) of the Qur'an?

"Knowing the interpretation of the Quran helps in contemplating it. Ibn Baz recommended contemplating the Quran and referring to the words of scholars of Tafsir (exegesis) for what is unclear.

Ibn Uthaymeen recommended caring for the Quran, contemplating it, and consulting reliable books of Tafsir such as "Tafsir Ibn Kathir," "Tafsir Al-Sa'di," and "Tafsir Al-Jazairi." He also advised receiving the meanings of the Quran from trustworthy scholars, because the Quran was revealed for recitation, contemplation, and taking admonition.
