"The sons of a woman are obligated to serve their mother to the fullest extent equally, commensurate with her needs in terms of expenditure, and this falls under the commanded act of kindness. As for her daughters, they are also required to do the same, but to a lesser degree due to their connection to their husbands. If the sons can serve their mother in a rotational manner, that is better, otherwise they should hire a woman to take care of that. The wives of the sons are not obligated to serve the mother, but if they do so as an act of kindness, it is commendable and they will be rewarded for it.
