Do full sisters inherit if the deceased has sons and a wife?

Whether the deceased's relative is married or unmarried does not affect the inheritance.

If a person dies leaving behind his wife, his three sons, and his full sister, and leaves no other heirs, then his wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if you have a child, then for them is one-eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt."

The remainder goes to his three sons equally, by virtue of 'asabah (agnatic inheritance), based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the shares to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male."

His full sister receives nothing because she does not inherit in the presence of a son.

The inheritance is divided into twenty-four shares: the wife receives three shares (one-eighth), and each son receives seven shares.
