Is it true that a young man who deflowers a virgin girl will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, and is there any evidence for this from the Qur'an or the Sunnah?

Adultery is a grave sin, one of the major sins, in fact, it is among the greatest sins after polytheism (shirk (definition)) and murder. Allah has promised adulterers multiplied torment and eternal residence in Hell, as stated in the Holy Quran: "And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden them to kill, except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever does that will meet a penalty. The punishment will be multiplied for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated, Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds." The eternity mentioned here signifies a long duration, not perpetual eternity like that of disbelievers. Therefore, the adulterer must hasten to sincere repentance, abandon this sin, and perform many righteous deeds. Allah Almighty said: "Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." There is nothing in the sacred texts to indicate that an adulterer, if he repents, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise.
