Does the wife inherit shared items, such as the husband's electric shaver, after his death, as well as her personal items, such as her mobile phone, knowing that she told her husband that her belongings were for both of them?

The "electrical plug adapter" does not fall outside the scope of the previous fatwa (definition). If it belongs specifically to the wife, then it is her property. If it belongs specifically to the husband and he did not transfer ownership of it to his wife, then it is included in the inheritance. The husband's statement, "You can use everything in the room without asking my permission," is a permission to use, not a gift. Items specific to the wife do not enter into the inheritance unless there is certainty of her gifting them to the husband and his taking possession of them. In summary, neither spouse gifted to the other what belonged to them; rather, they permitted its use. Thus, the wife retains what is hers and shares with the heirs in her husband's belongings according to her share.
