Is designating a special day for the orphan permissible Islamically, or is it considered an innovation (bid‘ah)?

Designating a specific day to celebrate mothers and orphans is an innovation (bid‘ah), because Islam has enjoined kindness to mothers and benevolence towards orphans and the weak at all times. Eids are among the rituals of the religion, and it is not permissible to innovate that for which there is no evidence.
