Do you not agree that there is a contradiction between your Fatwa No. 60220, which states that whoever marries a फॉरnicator before the completion of her iddah (waiting period) is sinful and their marriage is permanently annulled, and your Fatwa No. 35473, which indicates that marriage before the completion of the iddah is valid? And was the first Fatwa based on the Maliki school of thought, even if you do not favor it?

There is no contradiction between the two fatwas; the first fatwa (definition) (60220) concerns issues related to marrying an adulteress according to Imam Malik's madhhab (definition), as the questioner adheres to this madhhab. As for the second fatwa (35473), it clarifies the conditions for marrying an adulteress according to the preponderant opinion of scholars, one of which is ensuring the womb is clear (istibra’ al-rahm). If she is married before the istibra’, the marriage is valid, contrary to Imam Malik's madhhab, and the preponderant view is to uphold it out of consideration for the difference of opinion.
