Is it permissible to perform Umrah for a person who suffers from a fistula from which a small amount of blood exits, and is it permissible to cover the fistula?
Whoever suffers from an illness that causes bleeding, and this illness does not prevent them from performing Umrah, must hasten to perform it because it is obligatory upon the one who is able. They must wash the place of the blood and tie it with a cloth to prevent the blood from spreading onto their clothes or the mosque. This is in accordance with the legal maxim: "Necessities make the forbidden permissible." Everyone who has a perpetual impurity must do this.
