What is the ruling on one who dislikes henna?

A person is not held accountable for disliking henna and naturally being repulsed by it, so long as this is not accompanied by a mistaken belief. It is recommended for a married woman to dye her hands and feet with henna, unless her husband dislikes it, in which case she must obey him. As for a man, it is forbidden for him to use henna on his hands and feet, except for medicinal purposes, and it is recommended for him to dye gray hair with it.
