You are permitted to marry a second wife while she remains in her country, and she has the right to waive her right to reside with you, while retaining her right to claim it later. We advise you to leave countries where you lose your guardianship over your family, and to advise your current wife to adhere to Islam. If she does not respond, then we believe you should leave her and seek a religious wife.
