Is it permissible for a woman to work as a police officer, or is it forbidden?

The default is for a woman to remain in her home to raise her children and manage her household. However, it is permissible for her to work if she wishes, and it is preferable that her work be exclusively among women. If she works with men, she must adhere to the Sharia regulations, such as ensuring there is no fitna (strife/temptation), observing the legal hijab, avoiding khalwa (private seclusion) with men, and not speaking to them in a soft, alluring manner. Therefore, it is permissible for a woman to work as a police officer under the aforementioned Sharia regulations; otherwise, it is not permissible.
